Intersecting Plaza Lorenzo Ruiz, and ends perpendicular Ronquillo Street
Named after Filipino-Chinese philanthropist Roman Ongpin, this street is lined with specialty stores, fruits and vegetable stands, groceries, and restaurants. At the corner of the street and nearby the Binondo Church, once can find a street-side temple with the image of Santo Cristo de Longos. Said to be miraculous, the image is frequented by devotees for prayers and offerings. Ongpin Street also has several arches ('paifang') typical of Chinatowns around the world: the Arch of Goodwill, Arch of Friendship and Arch of Solidarity.
